Operation: These units both clean and humidify the indoors. The airflow is blown over a series of discs that rotate though a water bath. As the small particulates hit the water they are trapped and clump together. The water naturally evaporates from the airflow bring blown over the discs and increases the humidity in the room. An Ionic Silver stick is supplied to keep germs from growing in the water bath and being distributed back into the room.

One of the most advanced products from AOS is called the Air Washer AOS 2055. This model of air washer is able to wash and humidify the air that enters it. It does this by pulling the air through water and cleansing it. The air is cleared of the smallest particles such as dust mites and pollen. This system is also able to cleanse the air of odors that may be present. There are special humidifying discs present in the machine that humidify the air that enters the system. The air is kept at the correct level of humidity with only one humidifying system due to the evaporation levels. An Ionic Silver Stick is present in this system in order to assure the air cleanliness. The Ionic Silver Stick, or ISS, is a newly designed part that uses the anti-microbial qualities of silver in order to clean the air. Silver is proven to be effective in eliminating more than 650 types of bacteria and viruses. The ISS is able to keep the water in the machine pure without having to use any chemicals. The ISS is self-regulating which makes it impossible for there to be an overdose in the machine. The Ionic Silver Stick is able to self-renew and is therefore maintenance free. The stick uses no energy to perform and is easy to handle.

The Air Washer AOS 2055 is equipped with a preionisator. This part is able to make the dust in the air clump together. In clumps, the dust sticks to the discs a lot easier and is caught by the discs. The different charges of magnetic fields inside the discs are what bring the particles to the discs. Since these air purifiers uses a disc system, there are no filters present in the system that need to be replaced. This makes the machine very low maintenance and hassle-free for the customer. The discs are easy to remove and clean. They can be placed in the dishwasher and will not be harmed if the dishwasher stays at 55 degrees Celsius and below. The Air Washer AOS 2055 is safe to use throughout the whole year. The water tank is transparent so the user can see the water level and is easy to remove from the machine. The water tank is equipped with a handle in order for the customer to access it easily and transport it if needed. The system has two different performance settings for the user to set, both of which are whisper-quiet.

My girls always get sick in the winter but I was told by a number of people that keeping the inside of the house moist would help. I hate the cheap humidifiers that I've bought in stores because they never last long. The Air O Swiss model 2055 air purifiers are the best room airwasher and is great. I like that it truly cleans while humidifying it. It's a nice design too and the low sound level hasn't bothered them at all. I'm looking forward to their missing less days of school this year!
