Energy Efficiency

Blueair’s unique HEPASilentTM technology allows you to fill your space with more clean air while using less noise and electricity. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded Blueair the Energy Star award in 2004 for all air purifiers made in the United States.

Costs for Blueair Air Purifiers

Due to an extensive product line and variety in air purifiers from Blueair, there’s an air purifier that can fit anyone’s budget. The Blue Family of Blueair products offers the cheapest options, but you don’t have to sacrifice quality. If you want more bells and whistles and have the means to shell out a bit more cash, then you can undoubtedly benefit from the HealthProtect and Pro families.

You can expect to pay $100 to $1000 for a good air purifier, and Blueair is good about offering many products within this price range. Your initial air purifier purchase will include the proper filter. Still, you’ll have to factor in the filter replacement costs, and you can expect to change the filter every six months per Blueair’s recommendation.

If you can’t pay outright for one of Blueair’s products, you can take advantage of financing options. You can buy an air purifier with Affirm’s monthly payments, which applies to orders over $50.

Filter Replacement Costs

The filters on the Classic purifier should be changed every six months, according to Blueair. Replacement filters cost between $20 and $200 each. As a result, you’ll have to pay an additional $40 to $400 in filter costs per year. All adds up. However, it’s essential to keep the indoor air as fresh and clean as possible.

Although the regular unregistered warranty only lasts one year, registering with Blueair extends the warranty to five years. It’s also a quick procedure, so don’t wait to get your complete security kit. You must register at Blueair within 60 days of your purchase to be eligible. The fact that the Blueair air purifier needs routine filter adjustments to keep the warranty valid can be a minor annoyance. On the one hand, it seems to be expensive. On the other hand, it’s a small price to pay for better, cleaner, and fresher air.

Warranty

All Blueair air purifiers have a Limited 1-Year Warranty, and you have the option to extend any warranty. You must complete the product registration form in the “My units” section of your customer account within 60 days of delivery to open the Limited Warranty that comes with a Blueair air purifier.

You can breathe easy with Blueair’s 60-day return policy, which allows you to return any product you’re not happy with, and the return is free. Blueair will replace a faulty unit at no cost to you and refund any shipping costs within the first thirty (30) days of purchase. All Blueair units, including all accessories and the user manual, must be returned in their original packaging. There are no refunds for delivery, storage, or processing fees.

Customers can also benefit from free shipping when purchasing an air purifier from Blueair. In most states, orders ship for free and arrive within five business days. Alaska and Hawaii may be subject to additional fees.

Find a Blueair Purifier for Asthma

You may also struggle with Asthma, and Blueair’s air purifiers’ build has this in mind. Inflammation of the lungs’ airways occurs when you inhale ultrafine airborne particles. As a result, you may experience severe and minor health concerns for asthmatics, such as shortness of breath, wheezing, chest pain, and coughing. This can you at risk for having an asthma attack, and you can often have difficulty sleeping.

The good news is that all Blueair models use HEPASilentTM technology, which effectively eliminates at least 99.97 percent of ultrafine particles linked to Asthma. Airborne household chemicals can also often cause asthma symptoms, so Blueair offers air purifiers with activated carbon to adsorb chemicals and gases. Consider the size of the space when choosing the right Blueair purifier for Asthma. It’s best to choose an air purifier that has a recommended room size that’s larger than yours, especially if you have sensitive lungs.

Find a Blueair Purifier for Allergies

Every year, over 50 million Americans suffer from allergies. Seasonal allergy symptoms such as coughing, sinus inflammation, trouble breathing, itchy and watery eyes, and asthma attacks affect our everyday lives. It seems like there’s always some allergen to contend with throughout the year, so having an air purifier that collects particles of all sizes is essential.

Blueair’s HEPASilent technology removes pollen, mold spores, dust mites, pet dander, and more allergens with extreme efficiency. A Blueair air purifier that also has activated carbon or the DualProtection filters also offers protection against allergies triggered by smoke, such as tobacco, odors, chemicals, gases, and wildfires. Remove pollen via air purifiers, which alleviates many allergy symptoms. Many airborne allergens, such as pollen, are removed from the indoor air by a Blueair air purifier. Blueair Classic air purifiers, for example, clear 99 percent of pollen in a room in just 20 minutes.

You are more vulnerable to catching a common cold or flu if you already have a lifelong allergy to pollen and other airborne allergens. Air purifiers remove bacteria, germs, and pollution from the air, which can quickly enter your respiratory system and damage your health.

Placement For Your Blueair Air Purifier

Air purifiers are intended to be used in just one room at a time. Houses, on the other hand, are divided into a series of spaces. A purifier must be present in any given room to effectively purify the air. The living and dining areas are essentially combined into one room. Larger areas will also benefit from cleaner air if the unit is the right size.

The 205 series is intended for smaller bedrooms and apartments with a maximum of 280 square feet. The 400 series is best for more oversized bedrooms and small to medium living areas up to 480 square feet. The Classic 505 series is intended for rooms up to 580 square feet, while the Classic 600 series is designed for open space, larger rooms, and offices up to 680 square feet.

Bottom Line

Blueair is one of the most trusted indoor air cleaner manufacturers. With their wide variety of air cleaners to choose from, you can trust their products to help you maintain clean air. This includes dust, allergens, smoke, odors, pet dander, chemicals, gases, VOCs, bacteria, and viruses.

With multiple product offerings, each one is easy-to-use and simple to operate. Even better, Blueair’s units have patented HEPA Silent technology, smart features, and include the Blueair Friend app.

What’s more, if you are concerned with the quality of your air purifier, they have solutions. Blueair prioritizes sustainability, efficiency, and low noise, to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Their products will ultimately create a healthier, happier lifestyle for you.

Blueair Customer Reviews:

Best decision I’ve made!

“The best decision I’ve made recently was to purchase this. I always check Consumer Reports before I buy, and this was their best buy overall for quality and lower cost of use over the years.

So, I have two dogs who practically live in my bedroom with me and a big black dresser! Before getting this, I could dust that dresser, then hours later, it would need another dusting! Now, it takes several days for dust to start showing enough that I want to dust it! Proof that this unit is doing its job! I live in the southern AZ desert, so very dusty place to begin with. I might have to replace the filter more often than some, but worth it to me! Five stars and more if I could give them! I keep it on low at night and medium or high depending on how much moving around we’re doing during the day, whether the window is open, etc…

If you have pets and a dusty environment, you need this!”

We love this product!

“My wife and I picked this up on sale because we wanted an air purifier for the home gym. So far, we love this product. It runs great, improves the air quality, and is incredibly quiet on the lowest setting, and it seems very powerful and moves a lot of air when turned to the highest setting. It looks great too! Many air purifiers are pretty ugly, but this looks good in any room. We eventually plan on getting the 311 models for some of the larger spaces in our home when it gets to the times where allergies are a problem.”
