Medify has only been in business since 2017, but its main goal is to “help relieve the crisis of indoor air pollution.” Its commitment to that shines through in its product line – Medify only makes and sells air purifiers. Their units come in different shapes and sizes, but have sleek designs, will cover spaces from 200 to 2000 square feet and are reasonably priced.
Medify’s air purifiers have a wide range of features – but one constant remains. The company uses the highest grade of HEPA filtration in all of its units, holding to its mission to provide cleaner air to help its customers live longer and healthier lives. All the air purifiers have a three-layer system to trap the smallest of particles that trigger allergy and asthma. You’ll also find some of the units have helpful features like child locks, wheels for easy movement, timers and ozone free ionizers.

Medify Air Purifier Products
Medify Air is a company devoted fully to air purifiers. They only sell air purifiers and offer a full line of units that range in price from 90 to 700 dollars. Medify uses a three-layer system in all its air purifiers to capture and trap allergens, pet dander, pollen, dust and other microscopic particles floating around in the air inside your home. All the units work with the highest-grade HEPA filter available. The filters are equipped with an airtight seal to cut down on the possibility of dirty air leaking out or bypassing the filter.
The air purifiers have sleek designs that blend in well with any home décor. Some can be used on desks or table tops, others are floor models, while some can be mounted on the wall. They even make an air purifier for your vehicle. If you’re looking for a good option for a small space, we recommend the MA-14. It covers 200 square feet and is reasonably priced at 90 dollars. If you’re looking for a unit that covers a bigger area, we recommend the MA-25 and the MA-125. The MA-25 covers 500 square feet and will cost around 160 dollars, while the MA-125 can cover up to 2051 square feet and is priced around 700 dollars.
To work effectively, HEPA air purifiers have to be changed regularly. Medify Air units will let you know when it’s time to change the filter. One drawback we’ve found is Medify filters don’t last as long as other brands and have to be changed every three to four months.

About Medify Air Purifiers
Medify is relatively new to the air purifier market. The company was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Florida. It was started by an engineer who wanted to help reduce indoor air pollution and made a name for itself during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Medify only sells purifiers and the filters that go in them and they are all manufactured in the United States. For a time, Medify air purifiers were only available through the company’s website or by ordering on Amazon. In a span of just a couple of years, they became the number two air purifier brand being sold on Amazon. But recently, Wal-Mart and a few other retail outlets have started selling the Medify brand.
What’s New in Innovation from Medify
- Personal Air Purifiers
The Covid-19 pandemic made us all much more aware of how viruses spread. Medify makes a purifier for your vehicle. The MA-CAR is made for cars, trucks and SUVs with up to seven seats. It can clean up to 80 square feet in 30 minutes. - Higher HEPA Grade Filters
Medify was the first air purifier manufacturer to use HEPA Grade 13 filters in all their units. They are currently working to make some filters a grade higher – HEPA Grade 14 – which trap 99.995 percent of particles down to 0.3 microns.
Medify Air Purifier Quality
Medify Air prides itself on designing quality air purifiers. They were the first company to include high quality HEPA grade 13 filters in all their devices. Grade 13 filters pull 99.99 percent of airborne irritants out of the air. And they capture the smallest of particles – down to 0.1 microns.
Features and Services
Medify air purifiers have a sleek design and a variety of styles for various placement in your home. Some of the purifiers have a child lock to keep little ones from hurting themselves or messing up the unit. Medify makes its units super quiet to make it easy to sleep while it’s running. Some of the larger floor models have wheels to help make it easier to move them around.
Clean air in our schools became top of mind during the Covid-19 pandemic. Medify saw the need and is trying to fill it. You’ll find a form on their website specifically for schools and universities to explain their needs and Medify will help them determine the best unit for specific classrooms.
Energy Efficiency
Energy efficiency and safety are important to Medify Air. All its air purifiers are Energy Star rated by the U.S. government, meaning they’ve met strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the EPA and the U.S. Department of Energy. Energy Star rated appliances use less energy and help you save money on your electric bill.
Medify air purifiers also have an ETL certification meaning they’ve been tested to a high set of government safety standards.
Customer Support & Reviews
Medify has an FAQ page that is very thorough and informative. There is a general section, but also specific questions and answers for each make and model they sell. You can contact Medify’s customer service center by phone (888-258-1008) or by email at [email protected]. There’s also a form you can fill out on the website to ask questions or relay concerns and a chat feature where you can have real time conversations with a customer service team member. There’s also a feature on their website that allows you to track any order you place with them. All you need is your order or tracking number to find out where in transit your package is.
We read through dozens of reviews online and found that by and large, customers are extremely happy with Medify air purifiers and speak highly of the unit’s performance. You will find some complaints about trouble getting filter replacements on time, air purifiers not working correctly and purifiers not equipped with an air quality indicator or an auto mode. It seems a design change on the MA-40 removed the auto mode and for a time the website wasn’t updated to reflect that.
Medify has a Facebook page where you will find lots of reviews – most of them are positive, stating how well the purifier works and how happy the customer is with it. You’ll also find on those posts that Medify responds to nearly all of them – either thanking the client for their rave reviews or apologizing directly to the customer and trying to explain and rectify the situation.
Medify is accredited with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and has an A+ rating with the consumer organization. You will find 23 complaints filed with the BBB – the majority of them are about the product not working correctly. To date, only two of them have been resolved.
Costs for Medify Air Purifiers
Like most companies that make air purifiers, Medify units cover a wide range of costs. You can expect to pay between 90 and 700 dollars, depending on the make and model you choose. Medify makes 12 different air purifiers with different features, but most of them fall on the bottom half of the price scale.
Filter Replacement Costs
Medify replacement filters cost between 40 and 160 dollars. The air purifiers are equipped with an indicator to let you know when it’s time to change the filter. It’s important to change it on time, every time, for two reasons:
- It will ensure the air you’re breathing inside your home is clean and healthy.
- Failing to change the filters on time and appropriately will void the lifetime warranty.
Medify has a filter club to help drive down the filter cost. The company will give you 20 percent off on your first filter order and you’ll get 10 percent off for every order after the initial one. The filters are shipped for free to your home. You can set up an order and delivery schedule with Medify based on the air purifier you have, so you don’t have to remember to reorder – the company does that for you.
Medify Warranty
All Medify air purifiers comes with a lifetime warranty for parts and service. In order for the warranty to be in effect, you must register your unit with the company within 30 days of purchase. ((https://medifyair.com/pages/warranty)) You must also use only Medify air filters and change them in accordance with the company’s recommendations.
If the air purifier has been tampered with, mishandled, damaged, modified, or repaired by anyone other than Medify, the warranty will be voided.
Returns and Shipping
Medify offers its customers a 30-day trial period on products purchased through its website. If, for any reason, you don’t like the air purifier, you can return it – no questions asked. All you have to do is email the company at [email protected] with your order number, the date you bought the unit and the email address you used for the order. The company will send you a prepaid return shipping label to send it back. The purifier will have to be in good condition and returned in its original packaging.
If you need to return the product because it’s damaged or defective, the process is the same. Medify will either give you a full refund or replace the air purifier.
Right now, Medify only ships to the continental U.S. But shipping is free and you will generally receive your order within three to seven days.
