The following year, Rabbit Air released the BioGS Classic air purifier, which quickly became a best-seller. Within the next three years, the Los Angeles-based company launched its MinusA2 air purifier and released two air purifiers under the product line.
By 2010, Rabbit Air had not only won its first Inc. 5000 award — which recognizes the fastest-growing privately-owned companies in the United States — but also expanded its offices to Monterey Park, Calif., New York City, and Pasadena, Texas. In recent years, Rabbit Air’s BioGS 2.0 has become a best-seller and an award-winning air purifier. New York Magazine awarded the company “Best Air Purifier” for their BioGS 2.0. The purifier also won the Red Dot Design Award in Germany and Good Design award in Japan, which has propelled its popularity even further.

Rabbit Air Customer Reviews:
Cannot recommend it enough for fellow bird owners!
“Rabbit Air was recommended to me by my avian vet as it’s great for more dusty/powder producing species such as cockatoos, cockatiels, and African grey’s. It’s perfect for aiding their sensitive respiratory systems and also our own as bird owners! It runs great, looks sleek, and cleans our air so well. There is an obvious and easy way to turn off the negative ionizer which is VERY important if you have birds. It’s super quiet, which is also great, considering my birds are timid over new things in their environment. They warmed up and adjusted to having this in their room very nicely! Cannot recommend it enough for fellow bird owners!”

Sleek, effective, and great design!
“For starters, this is a great air filter. Sleek, effective, and great design! I got it as it’s also one of the few that handles odor. I have a large dog who farts. He sleeps with us, and by morning the bedroom is not so pleasant. So essentially, it worked great; it even got rid of the odor given off by my mist diffuser touched with lavender (I don’t need that anymore). But it has one HUGE design flaw. When you have it set to auto (preferred setting rather than leaving it to a set speed), the whole panel lights up constantly throughout the night while it cycles through various modes. This is a major problem as the panel is so incredibly bright it lights up the whole bedroom, waking you from sleep. Secondly, the panel design’s whole point is to vanish, lending to its simple, sleek design, which falls short as it’s constantly lighting up. For that reason, I have to give it three stars. As just an air filter, five stars.”

The air is much fresher and “lighter”.
“I purchased this for my elderly relative who lives in an elderly apartment, and she is also asthmatic. She finds the machine very helpful to her environment; the air is much fresher and “lighter.” It is also tranquil.
— Yingmay via Sylvane
Unclear about warranty coverage
“It seems that if you do not order directly from Rabbit Air, no one can tell you for sure if you have a warranty. I have three units that I bought from Sylvane, an authorized dealer, but Rabbit Air seems to only know about two of them. The only way to make sure you are covered for the five years it seems is to order directly from Rabbit Air, Sylvane will not help you with warranty issues, and I wonder if Rabbit Air will either.”

Costs for Rabbit Air Purifiers
You can expect to pay $100 to $1000 for a good air purifier in the air purifier market, and Rabbit Air falls in the mid-range price with its products. Due to an extensive product line and variety in air purifiers from Rabbit Air, there’s an air purifier that can fit anyone’s budget. The BioGS 2.0 is Rabbit Air’s cheapest option at $399.99, but don’t think you are sacrificing quality because it’s a purchase you won’t regret.
However, if you want more features and can shell out a bit more cash, you can undoubtedly benefit from the BioGS Classic. Your initial air purifier purchase will include the proper filter. Still, you’ll have to factor in the filter replacement costs, and you can expect to change the filter every five years per Rabbit Air’s recommendation.
Filter Replacement Costs
According to Rabbit Air, you should change the Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 air purifier filters every five years. The company also notes you may have to replace them sooner depending on your air purifier and environment. Replacement filters cost between $15 and $106 each. However, it’s essential to keep the indoor air as healthy and clean as possible.
Products: All of Rabbit Air’s purifiers come with its advanced BioGS HEPA filtration system, which does what the traditional HEPA filter cannot — eliminate up to 99.97 percent of harmful airborne chemicals as small as 0.3 microns, as well as up to 99.99 percent of ultrafine particles as small as 0.1 microns. The BioGS HEPA filter consists of proprietary fiber material, helps expand the filter’s life, and catches and eliminates common allergens trapped on the filter. This is a best-bet as traditional HEPA filters allow bacteria, allergens, and viruses to grow over time.
Rabbit Air offers high-quality, innovative air purifiers that can meet your needs. If you need an air purifier for a large room, the A3 covers up to 1300 square feet. The BioGS 2.0 is a best seller and perfect for small rooms up to 625 square feet. It doesn’t hurt either that it’s a budget-friendly air purifier at $399.95.
Warranty
All Rabbit Air purifiers come with a five-year warranty. After purchasing your unit, you must register your warranty, which you can do via Rabbit Air’s “Support” page on its website. The warranty form is easy to fill out and should not require help filling it out.
Returns and Shipping
Rabbit Air’s 90-day return policy allows you to return any product for free if you’re not completely satisfied. Rabbit Air offers free shipping on orders made within the United States, not including Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories. If you need to return your product, it’s essential to know that you must contact Rabbit Air customer service first to receive a return label via email.
Find a Rabbit Air Purifier for Smoke
Although air purifiers are well known for eliminating allergens, dust, and other harmful airborne particles, the purifiers expertly eliminate smoke and smoke odors as well. Air purifiers — which capture detrimental airborne chemicals, send through a combination of filters, and then release the clean air back out — can also eliminate the harmful chemicals in smoke, which can trigger allergic reactions including itchy eyes, coughing, sneezing, congestion, and more. Inhaling smoke can even lead to serious health problems such as cancer and heart disease.
The two primary ways air purifiers remove smoke is through using activated carbon and HEPA filter. A HEPA filter captures up to 99 percent of airborne pollutants as small as .03 microns. The best part? Rabbit Air purifiers come with a Charcoal-based Activated Carbon filter, a True HEPA filter, and its advanced BioGS HEPA filter. This system captures and eliminates up to 99 percent of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns. It also eliminates 99 percent of the tiniest particles as small as 0.1 microns.
Even better, you can customize your Rabbit Air purifier with an Odor Remover filter for additional protection against smoke and smoke odors. This filter expertly captures and eliminates odors from cigarette smoke, cigar smoke, cooking, mold, and more. If you or a loved one need relief from any of these smoke odors, a Rabbit Air purifier is the best-bet.
Find a Rabbit Air Purifier for Asthma
When we inhale ultrafine airborne particles, the lungs’ airways become inflamed, leading to minor and severe health concerns for asthmatics. This includes shortness of breath, wheezing, chest pain, and coughing. As a result, this can not only put you at risk for an asthma attack, but you can also have trouble sleeping.
Ultimately, if you or a family member struggles with asthma, Rabbit Air’s purifiers are built with this in mind. All Rabbit Air purifiers feature a BioGS HEPA filter, which captures up to 99.97 percent of harmful airborne allergens and particles as large as 0.3 microns. Up to 99 percent of particles less than 0.1 microns in size linked to asthma.
Additionally, because household chemicals can also trigger asthma symptoms, Rabbit Air offers air purifiers with activated carbon to adsorb chemicals and gases. When choosing the right Rabbit Air purifier for asthma, you must consider the room’s size to ensure your purifier has the right coverage area. For example, if your bedroom is 500 square feet, be sure to choose an air purifier that at least covers 500 square feet to maximize results. The BioGS 2.0 expertly cleans the air in rooms up to 625 square feet, making the purifier an excellent option for small- to medium-sized rooms.
Placement For Your Airpura Air Purifier
Because of the air purifier’s design to be used in one room, it can be diff. However, it is easier to do when you know where not to place it. Please do not put it in a corner, behind the couch, and in other places that can prevent it from effectively purifying your air.
However, it is best to put your air purifier in places with the highest airflow, according to LearnMetrics. These places include doorways, walls, near windows, and more. Even better, put your air purifier in the room where harmful airborne pollutants are the highest. For example, if you have pet odor and pet dander in your living room from your furry friend, house it there. Maybe your kitchen has a constant aroma from all cooking you do since you’re home more often. Or, perhaps, there’s mold growing in your bathroom from all of the excess moisture and humidity.
If you still can’t decide just yet, no worries! All room sizes-small, medium, and large — can benefit from cleaner air if the unit is the right size for the specific room’s coverage area. For example, the Rabbit Air BioGS 2.0 air purifier is best for medium-sized rooms — including bedrooms and offices — up to 625 square feet.
