Alen Air Purifier Products
All of Alen’s products are True HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) air purifiers, which is the most effective way to clean eliminate harmful airborne pollutants. The company’s units also come with a medical-grade True HEPA (H13) filter that removes up to 99.99 percent of airborne particles as small as 0.1 microns. This includes allergens, dust, mold, bacteria, viruses, and more.
Alen offers top-of-the-line air purifiers that can meet your various needs. If you need an air purifier for a large room, the BreatheSmart 75i covers up to 1300 square feet, while the BreatheSmart Classic covers up to 1,100 square feet. The BreatheSmart 45i is not only a best seller but can also help you and your loved ones sleep better. The BreatheSmart FLEX is a budget-friendly unit that is a wise choice for medium-sized rooms, including bedrooms and offices.

Features and Services
Although air purifiers are designed for use in one room only, it can be hard to figure out which room to place your unit. If you can’t decide just yet, don’t worry! All room sizes-small, medium, or large — can benefit from cleaner air if the indoor air cleaner is the right size for the room’s coverage area. For example, if the room you’d like to place your unit in is 800 square feet, please ensure you choose an air purifier with a coverage area of at least 800 square feet; otherwise, you won’t get the full benefit of the unit.
The BreatheSmart 75i is best for large living rooms, bedrooms, and offices up to 1,300 square feet, while the BreatheSmart 45i is perfect for rooms up to 800 square feet. If you need a smaller space unit, the T500 expertly cleans the air in rooms up to 500 square feet in size.
Energy Efficiency
As energy prices continue to rise, many people who suffer from allergies are hesitant to run their air purifiers 24/7 so as to not have a high energy bill. Fortunately, Alen air purifiers are Energy Star Certified and have been featured on a number of lists for their energy-efficiency.

Alen Customer Reviews:
I wouldn’t call it a great value, but it’s worth every single penny.
“I wouldn’t call it a great value, but it’s worth every single penny. We have four dogs in a single-story open design of about 1250 square feet. I instantly noticed a huge improvement in air quality within a short time after turning it on! The auto function works amazingly well. It will be sitting there on its lowest fan speed, having successfully cleaned the air all day/night. The little blue circle indicator light tells you your air is currently at its cleanest. I’ll light up a joint about 20 feet from the purifier, and within a minute or so, I’ll notice the fan speed crank up to its fullest! It’s still super quiet though you can’t hear it with a TV on red indicator light! Then purple! It tells me right away that my air has been polluted, and it’s working to fix it. Within 20 or 30 minutes, the whole house is completely smoke and scent-free! It’s perfect for all you well-to-do stoners such as myself.”

This unit WORKS. Period.
“I needed AIR! Fresh air. Neighboring homes using their wood-burning stoves 24/7, and a roommate who doesn’t think his vape pen leaves any odor. I was suffocating in stinky smoke and beginning to feel hopeless. I had purchased two smaller air purifiers in the past seeking to keep pet dander and dust at bay. Neither were keeping up with clearing the air of this smoke that rolled in during this winter’s extreme cold, yet dry, stretch that increased the frequency neighbors were using their stoves for heat. I decided a real investment in improving air quality was a must. I also wanted a unit that could take on the entire area for my side of the house (~900 square feet), so I began reading tons of reviews on several brands. I also asked my father, who saves EVERY issue of Consumer Reports, if he had an issue that evaluates air purifiers. And, he did. It was from 2015. The Alen BreathSmart was in the top five with great ratings. And was the only model in those five that handled near 1000 square feet. So, I went for this big purchase feeling confident relief was on the way. This unit arrived, and I wasted no time getting this baby fired up, turned on, and went for the high setting. The sensor kicked off red, as I knew it would. Within a couple of hours, it was turning blue. It continued to alternate to reddish than blue. I had trouble for a few days noticing that the house smelled ‘clean.‘ But, I think, because it has been stinky for so many days, my things probably had the smells in them. In the three weeks the BreathSmart has been running, and more vacuuming and Febreezing everything, I think we’re there! The unit is now set on auto, and it kicks on at high, as needed. I do not have my brain constantly fixate on what I’m breathing. I’m just breathing! SO pleased! This unit WORKS. Period.”

The unit seemed to work properly for about two months.
“I ordered an air purifier called Alen BreatheSmart HEPA and also ordered a replacement filter (never used). My total cost was $683. The unit seemed to work properly for about two months. However, it provided no benefit, so I moved the unit into storage until November while relocating. At that point, the timer button does not work properly. Instead of a timer, it is controlling the fan speed. The speed button controls the timer. You cannot turn the unit off using the On/Off button. You have to unplug it. This is crazy. The On/Off button also is controlling the fan speed. Nothing works properly. I contacted Alen Corp about this defective product in November, and I asked for a full refund. They offered to send me a replacement unit, but it would not come with the original 60-day guarantee. That is not acceptable as I have no faith in their product for obvious reasons.”

Alen Philanthropy
Alen is not only passionate about clean air but also about giving back to the communities it serves. Since its founding, the company has donated time to charity and products and has even helped raise money for charities. Due to COVID-19 and the growing concern for healthier indoor air, Alen has ramped up its philanthropic efforts through its Care Beyond Pure Air campaign.
For instance, in 2020, Texas-based Alen Corporation raised more than $7,000 for the Austin Humane Society, donated 40 Alen purifiers to frontline Emergency Room doctors combatting the coronavirus, and donated an air purifier to a loyal customer battling leukemia.
Alen’s compassion and care for breathing clean air have continued in 2021. The company has donated more than 20,000 meals to Central Texas Food Bank, provided over 30,000 PPE masks to local Austin businesses, and donated Alen purifiers to more than 30,000 classrooms across the country.
Ultimately, despite your needs, Alen purifiers are the best bet to improve your indoor air quality. These units not only clean more air but also do it quietly. When you purchase an Alen purifier, no matter who you are — a customer, Alen employee, or charity — you will have peace of mind knowing your unit provides a cleaner, healthier environment. The overall positive online customer reviews we read are a testament to the brand’s quality and its products. While the costs for Alen’s air purifiers are on par with the industry, not all units are equal to Alen.
